Jeanne Thorne has had an impressive career in childcare. Recently, we worked with Jeanne and her staff on a submission for an innovation award that highlighted the advancements Jeanne was able to make to her practice through the focused implementation of our software tools in her creche. Crechecom has only recently been introduced to our parents following a parental meeting at which Maria and Kieran from Crechecom attended. The purpose was to introduce this new technology. We had a 90% attendance which clearly showed the enthusiasm of parents and with the exception of some minor introductory issues, they too have been extremely supportive of the project. The forthcoming introduction of the Aistear framework onto the system will only further enhance its advantages and potential. We look forward to a long relationship with Crechecom, the system makes absolute sense for us given that these paperless records can now be efficiently stored in the Cloud. Popcorn Childcare.

Crechecom is an innovative service which allows us in connecting further with parents and families. It is a modern method of informing parents of daily events in their child’s routine. Previously parents received this information verbally or in written form (daily notebooks); Crechecom allows us to provide real time updates for parents on their chosen device at a time that suits them. It eliminates the distance between the child and the parent. The additional features such as sending photographs, direct messaging and so on are very popular with parents. The system itself is easy to use and the Crechecom Team are wonderful to deal with and provide ongoing support.

Within childcare it is paramount to have accurate and relevant information for both the parents and the H.S.E regarding the children we care for. This can be extremely time consuming and take precious time away from the care of the children if one is constantly writing in books/ sheets of paper for each child. I had always imagined that there had to be an easier way using technology. I was delighted when I came across Little Vista. Everybody I dealt with was so professional and listened to the needs of our centre, providing us with the necessary software and hardware to implement a new all encompassing system within our centre.
